For Amber Ward: I didn't initially feel involved in my wife's care until the family surgery meeting, it is better now. Obviously, it has been difficult due to the COVID restrictions and that's nobody's fault. I also felt a bit apprehensive when visiting the WLC Amber ward, having to wait for locks to get unlocked and locked, hearing somebody yelling, and seeing the keys. One thing that I really appreciate is being able to reach my wife on the phone. Also, having attended the family surgery, I feel more connected and supported now.
