Review of Surgical Admissions Unit

The staff and nurses were amazing, everything was explained in detail every step of the way. After the procedure there as copious amounts of tea! Only complaint - no entertainment! (i.e TV). Overall a pleasant experience.

I was encouraged throughout my care great team of health professionals. One particular needy patient would have been better placed on.

All the staff were very pleasant and made me feel at ease. Nothing was too much trouble. The only downside was I had to wait until 8 pm to go to theatre so I felt really unwell by this times as I hadn't had any water - I understand this isn't the nurses on the ward's fault.

Everyone seemed to care and spoke directly to the patient. Very professional and kind. Thank you for the chocolate cake!

Every part of my care was most professionally and sensitively undertaken - pre-op checks, anaesthetic and post-op care was great. I appreciated the time and effort that nurses and staff spent with me to make sure I was understanding fully what was happening (not easy when deaf!) but also all my needs and comfort was as good as possible. I can't fault them - superb.
