Review of St Peter's Hospice - Community Team written by a family member
24th September 2014

I have at present only seen Tina Roberts who has explained the care and support that will be available when needed. She has answered any questions that I and my family have had. She is a very nice, easy going person who has been very helpful to us.

The support I received so far has been nothing short of outstanding. We have total confidence in the information provided by the staff and the help in improving our finances( ie PIP). If only the NHS was good.

I think the care and support I have received have been 1st class. I don't believe you could improve the service you give it that good.

Review of St Peter's PSS - Bereavement Services written by a family member

My husband spent a very short time in your care before he unfortunately died. What we both received could not be faulted. We arrived quite late in the night, nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff and they we constantly checking to make sure my husband was comfortable and that I myself had everything I needed. The staff have a very difficult job to do, they do it exceptionally well.

Review of St Peter's Day Services - Fatigue and Breathlessness Course written by a patient
24th September 2014

I attended breathless course on 26/8/14 I found it informative plus it was beneficial to be part of a group with varying stages of the problem. As a suggestion I felt that the course would benefit by having a small loudspeaker devise so that everyone could hear what was being said.

I was allowed to talk about my experience and so were others in the group which made me realise I was not alone and others had worse experiences. We were gently guided through the meetings being greedy because I enjoyed the meetings longer or more often meetings.

The benefits I took out of the experience was that first & foremost the staff couldn't have been kinder & more caring. The facilities were superb and I've been back since the new music/therapy facility has been completed and its fantastic. The only improvement is that you could triple in size what you've already got - wouldn't that be great !!
