Care was wonderfull, I do not know how I could have coped without your wonderful ladies. They all fitted into the family scene and became part of the family.
I am so grateful for the Hospice is home provided by St Peter Hospice.
The any issues I would suggest you could look at, are the short notice of what your ladies are available, also they should ask for assistance when needed to avoid problems, most did but are a too felt family needed rest.
Really good care.
Nothing I can think of.
The classes I attended were exclent.
Your people were very kind and caring.
They encouraged all who attended, to mix and become a friendly gathering. I shall miss Tuesday mornings at the Hospice!
Carers group.
The Gp gelled together v well. Staff were helpful and kind. The talk on "Pain Control" was quite informative.
May I respectfully make 2 points.
1) I think there were times when a little former control could have been exercised.
2) With regard to the "spiritual advisor". Do you really think that 1 man can genuinely offer services/help to all religions personall I dont.
My husband was the patient. We did not have experience of in-patient care, however we were visited by the community nurse specialist at home. The care we received was wonderful. I am a community nurse in a district nurse team and our CNS was always willing to acknowledge. We built a very trusting and empathetic nation ship. Her knowledge and professionalism was so helpful and here liasion with our GP and oncology team made everything easier for us. She was also helpful with advising and providing any equipment we needed.
