'Sometimes staff are alright, then somebody else comes along and they are terrible. Todays not too bad'.
I am the sister of a man who was in St. Michaels for a year, only one month of that was he sectioned. He could not move because he had no where to move to. The staff looked after him amazingly. He was well cared for and listened too and I am full of appreciation for what they have done for him. I have only one concern and that is that if they cant have wardrobe rails in the hospital please can people have shelves to put their clothes on.
Thank you to everyone who worked with my brother, he is sad to leave but must move on to a real home.
I am the sister of a man who is presently in St. Michaels, Warwick, on Ferndale Ward.
I wanted to say how respectful the staff are to him, he looked clean and well when I visited him yesterday. He is sectioned for 28 days and I was invited to a ward round meeting during the first week. I felt I was listened to and my questions were answered during the meeting. Yesterday I told nurse about my visit and she was genuinely interested and listened to what I was saying about my brother. Thank you St. Michaels. I am hopeful that my brother will be able to make some recovery with you, however long that takes.
