Firstly I need to praise [name removed] & [name removed], for doing such an amazing job, through my diagnosis & medication. They have both shown fantastic knowledge & understanding of my adhd & been extremely kind supportive & helpful!
I feel like I have a fresh start in life, & it’s amazing!
They have made a massive difference & I am immensely grateful to them both for this, and always will be!

Staff very supportive. Felt safe.
Everyone is very supportive and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Feel I am really getting better whilst here. Beds really comfortable and the food tasty.
collaborative, person centred care was offered at all times by the nursing team and OT's. They have been adaptable in their nursing skills, giving me the correct coping mechanisms that I can continue to use in the community.

Sandpiper works in the least restrictive way possible however in order to balance patient safety and the comfort / security of all, there does have to be certain expectations and ward rules. A work in progress. Services provided inconsistent to avoidant by some members of staff. However, I understand this is still work in progress.
