I am unsure of who the people involved in my care in the CMHT are. But I appreciate the kindness and desire to care.

Suggested improvements
I think there are too many people involved in theoretical ‘care’ and ‘support’. This has lead to confusion amongst the staff about what is said and supposed to be being done. ‘Your records haven’t been updated yet’ ‘I don’t know, I just answer the calls for them’- secretaries ‘No one informed me’ ‘We are waiting to see what their decision is’- key worker Which leads to the patient having no clue what is going on also. If the staff are haphazardly passing around data, they lose sight of the actual patient. And their words ‘care’ and ‘support’ became meaningless to me. And another thing, though perhaps I am too idealistic in this aspect: Time. I am grateful to those who gave me the time to communicate these past months: my GP and Mind. But because they aren’t considered ‘qualified’ they had to refer me to CMHT once again. I know CMHT have a high workload though. But I feel like my GP and Mind have helped me far more than my experience of ‘qualified mental health care’, just because they extremely kindly gave me their time and continuity to communicate without pressure.
