I had a husband Ray Rushman who was very ill till 24.12.20 without having Leslie Burgess I do not know how I would have coped I looked forward to her calls. /nThree years on and she is still there.
The care of our father has been exemplary kindness from all those involved.
I was listened to and given good professional advice.
The help and support both I family have received been invaluable and very reassuring during a difficult and distressing period since my discharge from hospital last April./nIt has been useful for both myself and my daughter to have regular chats with a nonfamily member about the stresses and strains arising from my illness in addition to the practicalities. It is comforting to know that there is always someone on the other end of the phone to answer any questions or help with any concerns we have also very grateful for the arrangements put in place for a wheelchair to be provided to me. It has meant that I have been able to leave the house when I have felt able to attend church and appointments.
In this present time it is good to speak to someone outside the family about how you are feeling as a carer./nThis service was very helpful in doing that.
I was seen quickly and my treatment was very good and effective.
Very easy to talk to and explains any questions you might have very clearly
Felt well supported, cared for, privacy respected./nWhy are you asking all the questions in a past tense given that a high degree of patients are having and of life safe?
