Firstly let me say the care I was given was amazing! Both the Dentist and the nurse were so thoughtful and caring. I have always been a very nervous dental patient, but they put me at ease and made me feel totally relaxed.
Unfortunately the problem was the heat in the room. It made me feel very uncomfortable. It was just far too HOT. Something really has to be done about it. I've had appointments in the winter when it's far too cold and in the summer when it's the exact opposite. I was only in there for an hour and half way through it was almost unbearable. God only knows what it must be like to work in there for 8 hours. The staff should be commended. Why isn't the St James Clinic AIR CONDITIONED? After all we are now in the 21st century.

Thank you for your feedback, we are aware that the temperatures in some of our estate buildings are high at this time of year. We gladly welcome your feedback and will discuss with the relevant departments within the trust provision of further air cooling including fans. The wider project of whether air conditioning is installed at the clinic would be the decision of our estates team.
