Great to have support at this difficult time. We were impressed with the amount of care we received. The hospice nurses made us feel safe and secure and are great with dad. Andrea Moore our key worker has taken a big weight from our shoulders and made us feel there was someone special there for us through these dark times and helped to get Marie Curie on board. A big thank you to you all.

I contacted St Helena Hospice Bereavement Care because strong feelings of sadness and loss had welled up again a whole year after my partner died. The treatment officer who came to see me encouraged me to talk about the patient, my partner and our conversation led to many other subjects. I think being able to talk to someone quite unconnected to myself was liberating and by her 4th and final visit some 10 weeks later I felt more contact and accepting than at any time since the patient's death. I am so grateful for the help and understanding provided by your visitor.

The key worker, Diana, giving just the right amount of encouragement/sympathy this is early days but the information from Diana about what is available to help as life changes.

My counselor, Susie in Clacton, was amazing. I was listened to, treated with kindness, care and respect. Appointments were made to fit in with my commitments whenever possible. Excellent communication if any changes needed to be made. This service was a life saver for me - it has given me the ability to move forward positively with my life and given me a strength that I didn't have when I first came. Thank you so much.
