The professional staff and volunteers are all so caring and seem to have all their time for you and nobody else.
I have been treated with respect and felt a big part of the group.
I felt that I could be myself and Chris, Paul and Gordon help me to overcome any problem I had.
They do a fantastic job.
Sophie Wood - was amazing and helped both my mother and I during her terrible illness and sadly her death in December 2017.
Thank you Wendy for your help and support, with your help I can move forward and taking through things but you I realize what I was feeling was normal. Please pass this to Wendy and thank her on my behalf.
Could not find any fault with my bereavement counselling. I just wish it could have gone on longer as we seemed to make the most progress in the last 2-3 sessions. Irene was very supportive and managed to get answers for the questions I was asking myself.
Claire Scongill, from the Chaplaincy visits my husband the patient and myself at least once a month. My husband is seriously ill with 4 cancers mainly pancreatic and gets very depressed as its very difficult for him to get out and about. Receiving spiritual care from Claire is something we look forward to and we have communication with her. She is a wonderful listener and we feel a great deal of comfort when she has visited us. The company is excellent ad we hope and pray this will continue as we look forward to her visits. My husband has been in St Helena hospice.
Couldn't be improved.
All very professional.
Care is superb.
St Helena Hospice was awarded the iWantGreatCare certificate of excellence in 2024 for delivering outstanding care.
