Having had other counselling I have been fortunate to find someone that totally understood my grief. I have great respect for the help and support that I received. I do not know where I would be without the support I have had, not only from hospice, but the wonderful lady I had.

Although Nichole advised not to go ahead with chemo, we did to good effects I should say. Also she said I would have a blue badge very quickly to help me get about, still waiting. Apart from that what is there to say.

My wife died in St. Helena Hospice eighteen months ago, and your service, love and care for her and our family was excellent. I received a counselor for some 12 weeks which again was superb and very helpful. She recommended I attend a bereavement group in my local branch of the hospice and I have attended 36 sessions which have been incredibly productive and helpful. The leader "Mary" was brilliant as was my counselor "Ruth" top class. I honestly cannot recommend improvement!

Very pleased with care, it was very efficient and caring and Niamph went out of her way to secure a good pain control plan.

I found the care and support given by Niamh Eve very interesting - beneficial. She was very efficient in putting me in touch with all the services I needed. She was very empathetic explained everything even services/benefits we did not know were available. Eve was very supportive of my wife also. She was very confident in her job and we would recommend her to anyone. She also put me at ease so I wasn't so worried, she took my worry away and I feel that since she came into our lives I have improved both mentally and physically. Altogether a great person.

The amount of time given. The welcome at the Joan Tomkins Centre. My counselor Susie was amazing she listened, she encouraged me. I am definitely a better person for the service, I have been able to move forward, and was able to let Susie know I was ready to complete our sessions. Many thanks.
