I have spent years trying to get help with my COPD. Everything I do I have learnt myself (from books, YouTube etc). It was lovely having Julia talking me what I should be doing and how to do it, and also talking me what I was doing wrong.
I felt safe. If I scared or anxious I could tell the staff and I trusted them, I did not feel judged. I lked the clover room it made me feel calm and liked the butterflys and bubbles. Friends noticed the difference in you. Helped you allowing people to touch me.
Just telling truth.
Made me feel relaxed again.
Lucy was kind, caring and has enabled me to begin to feel more comfortable with my grief.
We have completed confidence in Sophie our special palliative care nurse. She is our rock and tells us the truth about my husband's condition.
The two ladies were very kind and thoughtful came back the next day even though dad had passed away and they had never met him.
I found the support really helpful, it is hard to 'choose' a counselor from the many out there so being able to refer myself to a team of experienced practitioners was really helpful at a time when I was consumed by grief.
Kim helped me look at ways in which I can cope, and this was helped me a lot.
Staff were confident caring and very informative.
