The care and support I get from the group is outstanding. The staff are even helped and can't do enough for you. They listen to any problems, you may have and I couldn't ask for more. Thank you.

Homely atmosphere, loving staff whose attitude never changed from day to day. Just like a great family. Caring. Consideration. Loving. I will miss them greatly and have no fears in.

I would say the last 8 weeks have been so beneficial, especially the help I've had from Mark- how to manage anxiety. I'm now finding I am able to manage and feeling so much improvement. I personally cannot fault the group. I love the company love laugh, play games ie quiz discussing the way we were and exercise.

Review of Inpatient Unit written by a family member

When I first came W/C MOnday 5/10 there was a sofa on the reception by nurse's election which was replaced W/C Monday 22/10, due to sofa needing repair/replacement the tub chair replacing sofa was very uncomfortable and not designed for comforts, enter your feet don't touch the ground or depth of seat not enough. Furthermore a replacement sofa was more appropriate for two or more needed if comfort and hugs required which they were!! Being back a sofa pause!!

The carers were punctual, kind and supportive. They inspired confidence. Having single point available with advice 24 hours was a lifeline. The CNS nurses clearly explained difficult topics to prepare me for what was going to happen.

Review of Bereavement written by a family member

The care I received was sincere and genuine. The communication at all times was consistent during session and in between appointments. The link with other care teams was accessible and very helpful. I wish I could give an example of what could be improved however, I am completely satisfied with the care I have received at St. Helena Hospice. Always truly grateful.
