I was pleased at the early response to my referral being made, to receive contact from St Helena staff. I was concerned at details for the contract being changed and specifically about the sharing of information. The fairly short-term number of sessions did help focus my attention upon the priority issues, yet also gave a sense of feeling rushed/ dragged by the system. I was grateful of the high degree of empathy offered by the counselor.
