I was seen promptly was kept aware of what was happening and got the treatment I needed the only problem I found was because I was very hot at times I had to go outside a&e to cool down I would have found some seating helpful.

I don't identify with anything!!!!! I am a man, male, biological male. To say I identify as is exactly the same as saying I'm pretending to be. The question should be are you a biological male or a biological female? Being a medical establishment I would have thought this would be better.

All staff were professional & polite. Numerous tests were completed to help diagnose the problem. The new A&E department is now a fantastic addition to SGH .

In parts the hospital was too hot .

I arrived at 6.30. When I asked why people arriving 2 hours later than me were being seen first I was told the system kicks in at 8.30am. So sitting there for 90 mins meant nothing. I wasn't even seen first at 8.30. I was seen around 10.30. Basically the last one to be seen. The nurse on reception even admitted the system is poor.

Improve the system so that night admissions are dealt with before day system kicks in

The experience was tiring but done with great care and attention, the staff was excellent and my care was first class

The long wait was a bit disturbing because I felt so Ill but understandable under pressure the department was

The lack of communication between the 111 staff and Reception was none .I d already had a triage assessment done by 111 and was told they send the paperwork through to Scunthorpe but still had to book into A&E Ten waited 2 hours to see a triage nurse then to sit another 4 hours . Then a doctor came out and then said its another 2 hour before anyone would be seen .Once I got to see a doctor first thing she said . You need to go for an x Ray having spent 23 hours I said I wasn't going for an x Ray . WHY ON EARTH THE TRIARGE NURSE NEVER SENT ME FOR ON ONCE ID SEEN HER WOULD HAVE BEEN THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY to send me for one to help speed thing up .

If people go in with either legs or arm issues which on triage assessment use common sense to send them for xrays . It doesn't give me the confidence about the lack of how your A&E department is being run if I ran my H &S department at my place of work I'd be sacked

I wasn’t given a diagnosis and advised to go back to my GP. I asked for analgesia twice in the space of 3 hours but didn’t receive any.

More information on what was wrong with me. I wasn’t offered a drink or advised where to get one despite being in the department for 5 hours.

I had to visit this hospital twice to get the care I needed. During my first visit the receptionist was unkind, condescending and unprofessional. I feel the attitude from this person was unacceptable I had to come back early the next day to see a different receptionist that conducted herself much better. She was helpful and caring I had to wait around 3 hrs to get the initial consultation. With there only being 5 other people waiting I feel this is unacceptable and I’m incredibly diss appointed in this. I feel you can do much better The X-ray staff were very good and dealt with me promptly.

Please care about people. We are human beings Better training for reception staff Improve your waiting times. This was ridiculous and I don’t understand why you think this is acceptable

Everyone was kind and friendly. We were kept informed about what was going to happen.

Just the waiting but we do understand how busy an A and E department is.
