I thought that the length of time I had to wait from seeing the triage to seeing a doctor was terrible . I came to an and e at 20.30pm and left the hospital at 03.00am which i thought was terrible. I saw the doctor at about 12.15am and had X-ray bloods and ecg and never got to see the doctor again until 03.00am. When I came about a month ago it was a Saturday and I was seen in an hour.

Have comfier seating and could do with a water fountain so you can get a drink.

I understand the challenges faced by. Budget cuts and lack of staff however I feel that I could of been treated quicker.

I feel that the lack of communication and length of time I had to wait really jeopardised my treatment..

All the staff we had contact with were very friendly and kind. They put my mind at ease and kept me updated with my treatment.

Estimated waiting time to be displayed. TV to be on. Better vending machine that is less complicated to use and works properly.

Sat for 6 hours to be told it was an emergency department not for pre existing conditions, was told to go to the department by community nurse team! It obviously was serious as was in the hospice for 10 days! No help from your doctor at all, admittedly blood tests done but no other observations, absolutely disgusted with the way we were treated!

Maybe listion to what the patient/ carer says and not to be quick to judge, more care and compassion needed by that particular doctor, felt like we was wasting his time, he more or less said that, and he told us in no uncertain terms it was an emergency department, not for pre existing conditions, I was told to take my husband to a/e!

Why is it called emergency department if in 4 hours they accepted only 2 patients? Is it such sort of joke?

Waiting time must be reduced significantly

From start to finish my experience was absolutely first class. The hospital, the staff, the kindness, the expertise, the patience and everything about my visit was amazing.

I am diabetic and every other time I have been at a n e they have found me a sandwich I was there from 1pm till 7 .30pm I asked at 6 pm about a sandwich and was told to go to the cafe that was closed so was told by an employee that I could go to the kiosk at the church lane entrance I found my way there bought a sandwich as I was waiting for the lift to get back to the a n e the lady that told me to go to church lane entrance was giving the tray of sandwiches she had with her to the kiosk when I got back 49mins later the dr came back and said where was I he had been out looking for me

Most things are good but sometimes things can be done a little quicker

I've been so well looked after by every member of staff. Very happy and cheerful. Plus assuring me that I was not wasting their time. They are all amazing.
