Snce I was sent home from the hospital after major surgery, the after care received and still receiving at home from the Medilink stoma care nurses has been excellent . Their regular visits to check on me and address any issues has given me peace of mind that all' is fine. The nurses are kind and reassuring with answers to every question and always there to help at the other end of the phone.

I am a first time stoma patient and so far the service i have received from the community stoma nurse has been amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. I have already had to call on the nurse a few times and have been treated with the greatest respect and made to feel totally at ease in this difficult time. I feel like i am supported and the help is there for me should i need it. the nurses seem so knowledgeable and i have already learnt things to make my journey easier.

All contacts with the area stoma nurses have been great, very helpful and knowledgeable. Jane has been very attentive in working to resolve some irritation issues I have been experiencing. Providing numerous samples and guidance on how best to use the products.

I'm not sure there is anything you can do better TBH, being new to the ostomate world a great deal is down to trial and error and the expert guidance/ recommendations from the team.

The Stoma consultation was amazing thank you. The book and written information was very off putting but the time and effort and knowledge of the staff was amazing. Not just reassuring but with enough time and delivered with a nice slow tone that was easy to understand. Thank you
