I was thoroughly impressed by the service that I received from the stoma care team from before my surgery , during my hospital stay and once I was back at home. The team are extremely friendly and professional and I have been impressed by the speed at which they would get back to me when I contacted them because of a problem I had with my stoma.

I was less impressed with the people involved with supplying the support binders. The initial contact was very good with a home visit from them to measure me up for the binders. After I received the binders I was uncertain that they were actually the correct size. I thought that they were to big. I didn’t get much help from the suppler when I contacted them other than them sending me a postage envelope to send them back. I then sought help from the stoma team at Croydon hospital and they saw me very quickly and reassured me that they were the correct fit.
