Just about everything was good! All the staff were extremely kind, caring and compassionate. We appreciated having the opportunity of in-depth discussions with doctors, leaving us better informed and reassured. We were listened to and all our needs were catered for. Nothing was too much trouble. This is probably a delicate issue, but perhaps groups of family/friends could be discouraged from sitting, eating, talking loudly and watching TV around a patient's bed. It can be very distressing for a patient nearby who is trying to rest. Sometimes a little more privacy is needed in a ward.
