I am caring for my father full time. I gave up my nursing career to care for my father. I used to be able to "offload" with my friends at work. My husband is very supportive and does his best to help. However when Debbie comes I feel I can talk to her and tell her exactly how I feel and release my emontions. What is lovely is that she listens and reassures me I am doing OK. I have cared for terminally ill patients in my career including my grandparents. My father, it is different. I feel responsible even more so Debbie and Louise have been such a great help to me, ecouraging me to 'keep going' to ensure my father receives the best care and good journey to his end. Thank yuo Dr for giving me strength.
