Abbey and Nichola gave a good presentation of the information and advice which we all appreciated , thankyou.
i have very much enjoyed my Mondays, meeting new people in different environments; new stimuli, friendly staff- always bubbly and happy but empathetic to others needs. pushing my creative boundaries was great fun.
The Service reviewed was excellent the hospice staff were able to answer more of my questions and made myself and my mother at ease with there presence
My comments are Nothing to do with the counsellor. This counselling style is about listening, But there is a need to put positive steps into place to improve and recover our lives. Advice on dealing with loneliness, household items, photographs, dating, diversions etc could be given based on individual requirements. There's only so much emptying of emotions that you can take without needing something to fill you back up with positivity. It depends on each individual, but feeling like an individual with something to take away would be very welcome.
The sessions I had with Julia were extremely helpful. They were a space to reflect on the situation that I experiencing. I received very practical suggestions and advise.
I found the sessions of great benefit, thank you. I would not hesitate in having some more when the time comes.
