Based on my sessions with the counsellor I was given time to talk through & understand my feelings of grief. I was able to explore and work through other associated anxieties and given coping strategies to help me.

The waiting time from referral to seeing the counsellor as lengthy, but I understand the service is heavily requested and most probably underfunded. I lay no blame for the hospice about this and realise the lack of funding affects the service.

Staff were active listeners, professional & caring at all times. Patient responded in a positive way to clear instructions by staff.

The service I received was excellent, Staff were kind caring & made time to listen and give advice. All the staff were kind, patient & helpful which put me at ease.

Words cannot describe the unending diligence, the care & attention received 24hrs per da. In my humble opinion Pilgrims Hospice is the finest place in the world, but due to the staff from the top to the volunteers. I salute you all and thank you for the bottom of my heart.
