My brother doesn’t like talking on the telephone so I have to talk on his behalf as the staff are unable to come out to the home at the moment. This is otherwise OK. There was a time that the Doctor didn’t come out to see my brother, however I could've been informed sooner as I am also a carer for my parents and have to go out a lot.
Staff are checking in & calling us, but not able to come out and visit due to Covid-19. Looking forward to being able to come into the Hospice & look around. Everybody really helpful.
I have been kept well informed. It has been 2.5 months since prognosis and I have been phoned 2/3 times with an explanation on what's going on and what to expect. Very kind. Not needed to phone in myself.
Due to lockdown, the Hospice are unable to come out and see us. But they have been phoning us & checked in on us. Under the circumstances, they are doing their best. If there was a problem, it would be dealt with.

Happy with service. I know there is a 24 hour number if I need to talk to anyone so that is good.
Quite happy
Only received telephone support and having someone there to talk to is great. Service is really good, I can't fault it.
Service was excellent & I couldn't fault it. Consultant was exceptional. People always call me back when I ring in. Jacqueline, the nurse, is exceptional.
Had an unpleasant experience, which was no one's fault, but due to the situation with Covid-19. We received a telephone call from a bad line. My husband hadn't met anyone at this point and he was asked if he would do a DNAR. This was said in quite a blunt & shocking way. I am sure that it would not normally be said like this. I would recommend using landlines with a clearer signal, as we couldn’t even hear the person's name. We were told things about my husband that were untrue, due to the fact that they were unable to come out & see us face to face. Although I understand why they can't come out due to Covid-19. My experience with counselling was positive, Monique gave me a card, and said that if I want to check in in the future I can, which was reassuring. I think that people are doing their best, and the circumstances are difficult.
