During my period of stay as am in-patient I have experienced an excellent level of care and commitment to my wellbeing from all members of staff, whatever their professional, other studies or rank structure. I know that it is argued that heightened pay or other conditions of employment do not always equate to the improvement of work outcome. Trust or otherwise, better pay and conditions do not worsen the standard of work outcomes! The secretary of state for health (the one who plays at being a professional nurse) should visit this wonderful place and if would delight in guiding him around!
