I have had more contact and given different activities/contacts to go to for any concerns or advice if needed in the 24 hours of my mum going to visit the hospice than iv had during her ENTIRE illness, from diagnoses till now just over a year ago. Iv had my name put down for all sorts of crafts and carers groups (meeting other carers) and even spoken to a lady from the hospice personally and this is no exaggeration its been 24hrs ago (yesterday) and thats just me, most importantly my mum has had different needs met and this morning a phone call from the hospice just checking in and telling her they have already arrange an appointment for her fatigue. Already i feel some sort of support and i think this pilgrims hospice are not giving nearly enough crefit and praise for what they do. I hardly hear of charities in support of them as i do others. Thankyou and godbless you all
