I have visited Linda one of the hospice nurses having been referred to her by my consultant Dr Durve. Linda was very kind to me. Talked to me about my options and what groups were open to me. We talked about Time to create which did interest me but I was halfway through treatment for which I was travelling to Maidstone Monday to Friday. The hospice kept in touch with me until I was ready to start. I have come into reception to wait and the ladies have been very kind and helpful. I also had help with my housing form from Zoe which was a huge help. There was one question that Linda asked that I didn’t feel was relevant and that was the question “Did I feel at peace? I couldn’t answer it as I am at the start of my journey with cancer.
