Saturday 9/3/24.
Called 999 for what I thought was acute appendicitis. The 999 service was excellent and arranged for a taxi to take me to Boston Hospital Lincolnshire UK.
On arrival at A&E I was seen by a surgeon within 30 minutes who diagnosed the source of the problem as a inguinal hernia. I was operated on that same day under full anesthetic.
Every member of staff I met at the hospital was wonderful. I was discharged Monday afternoon 11/3/24 with transport arranged to take me home.
This really was first class treatment thank you to the NHS and all the staff at Boston hospital.
