Whilst I was on Ward 21 my care was exceptional. The staff were fantastic. They were attentive, organised and caring. I can't thank them enough for their patience and compassion. All the more extraordinary given the pressure and stress they have had to operate under since lockdown.

Kind staff, very clean, good food
A couple of weeks ago I had a terrible fall in our chicken coop.. Initially I thought I had just sprained my ankle so tried to self medicate and rest at home.. As the days went by It became apparent I couldn’t put any weight on the foot.. the following day (10/09/20) I got X-rayed and before I knew what was happening I was told in A&E they would need to operate the following day!!! After a 3 Hour operation two metal plates and loads of screws later I was wheeled from recovery back to ward 30.For the duration of my stay I was treated with the utmost respect and the special care I received really helped...As we all know due to Covid additional safety precautions are in place .. limited visits from Family does makes it more emotional for a patient. But all the staff I came into contact with and there was allot over the cause of three days were wonderfully helpful and caring from the X-ray department CT scan team A&E doctors surgeons the nurses the anaesthetists, porters the cleaners everyone were committed to give the best care!! If only I could remember everyone’s names I would name them individually!
Thank YOU so much to the NHS !!! And the Team at Pembury Hospital!!
We as a nation are truly blessed to have access to exceptional health care in times of Crisis..
I had to go in yesterday with inflammation of my tonsils and I was really worried it was Covid-19. Dr Muhammad Allauddin and his team were brilliant - especially Nurse Alka. Would you please thank Dr Muhammad and Nurse Alka personally for their professionalism, attentiveness, patience and dedication. They really are an exemplary reflection of the excellent service provided by the NHS and should be congratulated. These are hard times for all of us and it is so good to know professionals like them are there.

Good clean hospital with professional staff and care.
Following a c-section, I stayed on the antenatal ward for three nights. I was involved in my decision to stay that long based on wanting my own physical recovery to improve (I was enjoying the regular pain relief!) and also to receive breastfeeding support. At no point did I feel rushed or pressurised to leave the hospital which I was grateful for as a first time mum. I received regular BF support from midwifes and infant feeding specialists (although sometimes the information/advice was contradictory). The care throughout my stay was brilliant and I would highly recommend to anyone considering where to have their baby.
I was being induced due to a late diagnosis of Gestational Diabetes which was the opposite of the water-birth I was hoping for at the birthing centre. However, throughout the process, I asked for time to consider my options before making decisions which was respected and granted. This helped me feel empowered about how my labour and delivery was unfolding. My birth preferences, where possible, were followed by the midwifery team. I felt safe and cared for throughout my time on the delivery ward from induction, waters being broken, early labour and then throughout my emergency c-section.
The hospital was the nuffield health great there perfect staff around
I can’t thank the doctors, nurses and support staff enough for the care and attention they showed me recently for an elective operation. I felt completely safe and comfortable in their hands and could not have asked for any more from them.
Special thanks must go to my consultant, Mr Simon Bailey and his team who performed the operation, along with the colorectal & stoma nursing teams and all who I came into contact with on Ward 32. There are too many names to mention them all here but I do hope this collective team thank you reaches everyone that played their part. From diagnosis, right through to the end of my treatment, they have been amazing.
Thank you!
