Once Dr arrived it was a 5 minute treatment. But it took 5 hours to receive 5 minutes of treatment.
Now to wait for ambulance to transport back to home.
Just to confirm, the Dr and staff were short - you just need more of them....

Once I was checked and primarily seen by nurse after that the waiting time was still very long.
The blood test were done twice reduce to long wait.
Had to push for the doctor to be seen.

The triage nurse saw my mum quite quickly.
The gave medication to my mum pretty quickly aswell.
My mum was transported to CDU, she was left in a recliner chair as no beds available.
I feel there should be more A&E doctors.

4 hours plus to be seen.
I understand that there were other patients to be seen but presented with stroke threatening condition and not triaged appropriately.
Causes such as stroke not ruled out by triage nurse - if it was, thrombolysis window would have been missed.
Doctors on phone and chatting constantly being ED through front door ? going out to smoke.
Patient left in pain.

Initial problems in A&E but after that fine.
