I checked into A&E at 11am with an excruciating headache, having been to a Neurologist the day before who saw the need for an MRI at the earliest opportunity. I was told I would have a blood test and an ECG (?), but was left sitting for over 2 1/2 hours, seeing everyone who had come after me being treated. When I checked they couldn't find my notes, followed by a 40 minute search, only to find them on a ward upstairs. After another 30 minutes or so I was finally taken to have a blood test and an ECG. I then waited and at c.16:30 I was given some Ibuprofen and told everything was fine and I could go home. Ibuprofen!! Which I could have bought in a supermarket.
