I would like to say a huge thank you to Mr Gaurav Batra for my hip replacement. It's really appreciated.
I would also like the NHS who made it possible. As for the staff at Oaklands Hospital, I couldn't fault their care, so a big thank you to them.
So once again Mr Batra my grateful thanks.

The hospital is exceptionally clean, not too large that you may get lost searching for a department, and the staff are some of the best I have had the pleasure to work with as a patient.
I would like to say thank you to all the staff who have treated.

My name is Paul Smith, I am the Territory Manager for an Orthopaedic Company called Exactech that supplies PRP - this is used as a treatment for patients with various tendinopathies. I met Mr Batra for the first time today as he was using the Exactech PRP for one of his patients at The Oaklands. Mr Batra was an absolute pleasure to work with - he had a natural ability to put the patient at ease throughout with his friendly and approachable demeanor while maintaining an outstanding level of professionalism. From my interaction and conversations today with Mr Batra, I can genuinely say that as an Orthopaedic Surgeon and as a person, he stands out with his exceptional level of compassion, attention to detail and brilliant sense of humour - I will look forward to working with him again in the near future and I wholeheartedly recommend Mr Batra to anybody wanting any treatments that he may be able to provide. The staff was very friendly , but there was not enough to deal with night surgery .like all hospitals short on GP doctors also nurses

Oaklands was reasonably ok apart from:
1. Being sent to the wrong department by reception staff and waiting for 3 hours in the wrong place.
2. The dirty bloodstains on the recovery room floor.
3. The night nurse who said she was busy when I asked for a recuperative cup of tea.
4. The anaesthetist who wouldn't tell me what he was doing.
5. the plaster technician who effectively broke my ankle

excellent treatment staff brilliant, pleasant. I would highly recommend Oakland and all the staff thanks to everybody.
