Lena was kind and gentle. Everything about staff and Longfield house had a calm and soothing effect even before counselling. Many thanks.

Becky Ensor (counselor) was very friendly, easy to talk to and I felt comfortable to discuss my feelings. Very helpful sessions following the loss of my mum.

What a fantastic team of special people... Nothing is too much trouble. They are all kind considerate and extraordinary in their ability to go the extra mile on a day to day basis. They have made such a difference to his life... Enabling him to fulfill his wish to stay at home... They do a difficult job with kindness humour and exactly the right level of professionalism... The support from all at Long field has been extraordinary - our team of angels.

I felt safe talking about my journey. It was hard to release my grief, but I felt in good hands and welcomed talking about how I was to proceed.

My counsellor, Karen, had endless patience and kindness. The counselling room was the only 'safe' space I had to explore difficult emotions. It was a space that I could be angry and grieve without fear of judgement. I was offered a further 6 sessions which were invaluable. Thank you! The service you offer is a lifeline in a time when the world feels very dark and isolated. I cannot praise Karen enough, my heartfelt thanks go to her and the service you provide. I could not have afforded private counselling, so this was a real lifeline for me. Thank you.
