I was always treated with kindness and felt like I get to know many of the staff fairly well.

Everything was very good about my treatment and care, Sharon was very understanding, helpful and caring. I felt very comfortable with all the treatments and talking to Sharon. Wish I could have had a few more treatments but appreciate all that I have had.

Provided a safe welcoming space to talk to someone who listened with a non-judgemental understanding and kindness, flexible appointments and client led process. A much needed free service delivered with professionalism and compassion.

I have just received valuable bereavement counseling after the death of my dearest husband to whom I was married for 40 years, was a sympathetic listener with whom I felt connected through some very emotional moments. The hours spent with her have helped me deal with my grief which is not so easy with close family and friends, I just needed to talk about him without upsetting others! This is the toughest journey I have ever had to make, so thank you.

Review of Fatigue and Breathlessness Group written by a patient

The staff ae very attentive, kind and empathetic. Being at Longfield helped me right back out of a life that felt fenced in and on a very short path, out of that prison and back into life. It has been simply marvelous. being out of prison has enabled me to become physically stronger, thus I can do more. I am happy again.

My care was excellent. I was treated with understanding and sensitivity, and has shown a way to cope with my grief, and how to move more confidently into the future. I can see no need for improvement on your service.

Review of Bereavement Group written by a family member

A very calming and relaxing venue and atmosphere which is important when you are grieving. The counselor (Laura) and volunteers were empathic, caring and supportive and professional. I feel that the course material was good aspects of the course has helped me to deal with loss of losing my mum. I feel that the course could be extended to 8 weeks as 6 weeks is not quite enough, as bonds with the other participants had only been made 8 weeks would be better!

Review of Fatigue and Breathlessness Group written by a patient

Very friendly staff, very informative course, which has given me the tools and confidence to help me manage my condition. The only thing I can think could be improved is the refreshments (a cup of tea would have been nice during the break). Beautiful location and setting but transport is an issue to get there if you don't drive. All in all excellent.
