I enjoyed working with Ali. We sang and played duets which was lovely. Ali also introduced me to some aspects of music which were new to me. There were new percussion instruments I had not seen before. I found I was able to relax and listen with my eyes closed while Ali played one particular percussion instrument.

Review of Counselling Outpatients written by a patient

I was made to feel totally at ease with care. She made me feel comfortable and that I was able to talk about anything. Before my first session I wasn't convinced it would be beneficial to me, but I was surprised at the difference it made. I hadn't realised a lot of the feelings I had kept inside. I dealt with feelings and thoughts that i know I wouldn't have otherwise. I couldn't think of anything that could be improved, from the initial telephone conversation, to the reception staff and then finally Clare, everyone was so helpful, understanding and caring. Thank you for providing such a wonderful service.

More massage manicure and pedicure could be added to list of services provided. Lovely people, very interesting, caring, make you feel welcome. Good food will miss my Fridays, great fun in art room.

When I approached Longfields I was in a very low state and felt I wanted to talk to someone but there was not a counselling slot available. It was suggested I came for art therapy which I was very unsure about as I did not see myself as having any autistic abilities. However as I was desperate I agreed to try. It has been amazing! All chat and exploring pastels a colour has somehow made me feel much stronger again and even sent me not to buy my own pastels. Thank you.

Review of Day Therapy written by a patient

Everything was good and helpful. First session is frustrating especially if you've been here before. Nothing is set up for that day and you are told information you already know. Food is fabulous. Having bakes and hair washes has been a real treat for me too.

Review of Complementary Therapy Outpatients written by a patient

My therapist understood my difficulty and could relate to me. As a result I was able to trust the treatment and allow the benefit to work for me. This treatment went way beyond my expectations. This was a fantastic beginning in my recovery, following the shock of my mother's passing. Thank you.

I was made to feel very welcome and relaxed. Care was given to meet my individual need and tailored to suit me on a personal basis. Care was provided and the caregiver took the time to get to know me personally in order to provide the right service. I was treated with respect, dignity and privacy when needed. I can't thank you all enough for helping me to pass through a very difficult time in my life and helping me through adjustments.

When I first visited Longfield I was at my lowest ebb. I had my first massage from Sharon Baldwin, who was amazing. She gave me so much support. The care and support all the staff have given me has given me so much strength. I don't have the words to express fully that would give justice to Longfield staff and volunteers. I am not so worried about the future because they will guide me to what is best for my husband.

Really nice to talk about things from the past and things now. What could be improved - later in the day - too early.
