Caring person, listened and gave plenty of time to talk. Given ideas and techniques to help with sleep and anxiety. Thank you I have gone from a dark place to light!

Louise was very good, helped me to find ways to help my situation and went through things in the last session. Always had lots of time for me to think about the difficult questions she would ask, allowed me to explore my feelings, was never judgmental.

I honestly thought counselling was not for me but I was wrong and am grateful for the help it has given me. No need to improve as far as I'm concerned.

Long field provided me with a safe place to talk for the period of my therapy sessions. I felt I was so fortunate to meet Karen who was able to let me just talk. She was calm, empathetic and a good listener and was able to provide me with thoughtful 'nuggets' of advice and support as our sessions progressed (which I still reflect on) I loved to wander in the gardens, to read comments on boards and displays inside/ in the grounds, before and after my sessions. These also reminded me I was not alone in my grief. Thank you all.

My lady Emma was kind and considerate throughout my whole journey. Everything at Long field has this peaceful kindly aura about the place which makes you feel the same. There was everything about me that I needed (especially the issues!) I found the whole experience such a fulfilling one and so pleased. I ventured on the journey. Thanks Emma and Long field staff.

Review of Day Therapy written by a patient

Everything - the care - the understanding - the freedom to be me - the allowance of needing a quiet space the therapies, the meals everything is top quality and I honestly couldn't find any way to improve anything here. Thank you all so much.

When I started at Long field, I was very negative about my future. But since I have attended day centre and had great support from workers and voluntary staff, I have been far more positive about my future now. Thank you so much Long field.
