I am Francis Brian Towell, completing this on behalf of my wife.
Janette Susan Towell who came home on Thursday 7th March and died on Wednesday 13th March 2019. My younger daughter Lucy and I were at her bedside, holding her hands when she stopped breathing at 19-15 hours, (been improved, It is difficult to see how the care provided could have.
Every member of staff was kind at all times. Nothing was too much trouble for them and every aspect of my care was given full attention and dealt with promptly and efficiently. I can't see any area where improvements are necessary.
I was always treated wit respect - encouraged to talk about my experiences over the last four years: The ups and downs of emotions, particularly in the last six months seeing my son deteriorate so rapidly. I was allowed to cry and release tensions as they built up & we talked through the future, building up on the patients legacy through his wife and their wonderful children. Emma helped me to work through the grief with & positive attitude.
Many thanks for her kindness (and that of all the staff at Longfield). You have been wonderful to all during our very harrowing time.

The attention and care shown.
I felt that Sharon was really interested and cared about me and my situation. She was kind and knew when to talk, when to be quiet and when to hand me tissues!
