I had very good experiences with both JAmes and Grayle (Physio gym).
James was very honest with me and pragmatic about the way forward after my TKR (a revision fro half knee).
Although firm, re his advice, his straight talking was what I needed.
(I have suggested he makes some motivational CDs!)
Gayle (and Brian) were very encouraging in the gym-classes good advice and goal setting, gentle encouragement and understanding. I had a sessions - and would have continued :-).

Physio was great, knew exactly the problem and gave me appropriate advice and exercises.
Back class was good - enjoyed the circuit try/bike but talk was not as useful to me, I would have preferred to have been given paper work to take home.

Thank you for your feedback. This has been discussed and we had decided not to give out hand outs, we do however issue a detailed list of excercises done in the class. We use an open discussion forum also.

I have come with a good understanding of why back pain occurs and what I can do to help limit this.
I am mote body aware and can identify how my posture should be.
Longer period of sessions.

We are extending the course by a week. Theory is crucial to patients understanding of the workings of the spine and pain behaviour.
