I found James Bell very approachable and knowledgeable. He discussed blood test/Xray results with me in layman's terms and explained severity of changes to the joints causing pain and stiffness. He has suggested referral to rheumology for more blood tests and injections. I felt confident there could be improvement.

Concerns that by my "fast track" appointment (6 weeks if possible) is made, my hands/body will be even more stiff and painful. To be fair I understand even our WONDERFUL NHS can't perform miracles.

My physiotherapist Dakshika from the outset was approachable, easy to relate to and definitely cared about my difficulties. She went over and above to make herself available if I had any queries and made sure her treatment was based on my own personal goals. I felt supported at all times, she helped me understand my condition, she graded my programme to build upon previous successes and made me feel that recovery was in my grasp. The exercise programme sent to me post session with videos and instructions made me feel in control of my rehabilitation and I could chart my progress easily. A mixture of face to face and video sessions made our sessions accessible and I cannot fault anything from start to finish. Dakshika was a huge influence on my post surgery recovery and I cannot than her enough for helping me get back to ‘normal’.

Ed was very informative, talked through with me about the problem, possible causes, providing great detail in a simple way to understand how I can't treat this and strengthen.

Not much, the call was received at the time quoted and Ed was efficient and polite, and gave me treatments to work on to try and help
