I attended the dietitian weight management group on 15th June. I felt the dietitian did really well in curbing some of the comments from people who wanted to make the discussion about them. The host politely stopped them each time and assured them that this would be covered in their 1 to 1 call. I didn't like the zoom format where we were told to use the raise hand button yet the presenter couldn't see who had raised their hand. The call needed a proactive support person who could monitor and make the presenter aware when someone had their hand raised. I feel I am missing a piece of the puzzle which may be covered once I have my 1 to 1. The messaging was clear that in tier 3 you have to spend 12 - 18 months working on managing eating habits etc. However, there was no mention on support in how to do this, other than diet. I have disordered eating so need to address my emotional triggers so will counselling be an option to aid me with my binge eating?
