I feel that my appointment was not patronising, although it is a difficult situation in trying to "teach" someone to eat healthier. Maybe weight issues should be investigated more, into mental issues towards food, rather than vegetables are good, chocolate is bad. Everyone knows that, if people were overweight only because they ignored what they knew to be good food, many people would not be overweight. Eating issues and habits are more habitual and mentally stimulated than factual, and I feel this should be addressed. Also 7 month waiting lists for initial, and call back appointments are ridiculous and not helpful.
