Excellent car, seen and had mri and results on 2 and half hours. The a and e consultant was great and I got the care and outcome needed. Thank you. The new mri suite is really nice too

Maybe have a screen in a and e with estimated time to be seen, a few people went outside as it was very warm and not sure if there would be a way of telling someone as I think some missed their slots when shouted to be seen

I was treated by a Dr called Friday who was polite, friendly and put me at ease. I went in because I had a problem with my eyes, he was thorough with his questioning and promptly treated me and provided me with the details for follow up care.

I waited three hours, I suppose that’s the only thing I can think of. But because it’s a and e, I expected a long wait so it was fine. But that would be the only thing I could think that needed improvement.

I could not fault the response and care of all the staff who treated me urgently from reception to doctors and nurses

Excellent hard working team who have an extremely hard job to do it is always very busy However despite the huge work load the staff remain happy and positive As I unfortunately have been twice in and a and e in a short space of time due to unfortunate accidents Being an ex a and e nurse and understand pressures faced I would like to thank all the staff involved in my care and am truly grateful

Queuing outside the door for people could be potentially dangerous

I was in urgent care because of my daughter, we were advised to by our GP after a call with 111 as my daughter was quite poorly. The nurse and Dr who saw my daughter were wonderful and very caring towards her, making her feel at ease. However we had to wait 4.5hrs, I understand that these places get really busy, I could see that myself, but with a poorly child I felt the wait was far too long. Other people with children also had a very lengthy wait. The people at reception couldn't even advise us on an approximate waiting time. But as I said, the people who looked after my daughter were amazing.

More information could be offered on waiting times, especially for those with children as children don't understand and being poorly it unsettles them more. Also I think if possible an extra check for the poorly child by the triage nurse would be ideal if the waiting time is going to be long. It was almost 4hrs between my daughter seeing the nurse then finally the Dr.
