I was seen relatively quickly in difficult circumstances...hospital was very busy and with added covid measures staff did seem stressed but I still felt like they cared and wanted to help.
Suggested improvements
Maybe a leaflet with information about the type of break I sustained, and advice on how to aid recovery.

Every member of staff were very professional, kind, helpful & friendly.

I had to wait 3 hours to be seen, which I understand as the department was busy. It was obvious I needed an xray but because there was blood on my hand it couldn't be done until I was assessed by a nurse. I think everyone should go for an xray whilst waiting if the wound has stopped bleeding. Because of your current procedure I was in the department for 5 hours. This could have been reduced by an hour at least.

There was one nurse with white hair shoulder length was very rude to patients particularly to a old lady spoke to her so bad

My 8yo fell over at school and possibly required stitches. Parking was difficult due to building works at Diana POW hospital and we had to queue before getting into a&e. Once called forward, booking in was very straightforward and we were seen very quickly. Son was patched up and we were sent on our way within five minutes with instructions for after care.

Had scan in the Coastal CT suite am 16/07/2021.Staff were respectful, helpful and reassuring. Suite was comfortable and welcoming.

Nothing - it was a relief to be treated so well as I was very anxious beforehand.
