I attended the cardiology unit several time for various test 2017-18 each time I found the experience excellent in a caring service. The last test was for a angiogram carried out in a separate area within the unit, as with the rest of the unit I found all the staff very professional, friendly and caring who kept both myself and my wife well I'm informed. The unit has a small comfortable waiting area where we were offered tea coffee or cold drinks. As at all other visits the whole area was spotlessly clean and well managed. The only other time either had a need to visit the hospital was on the occasion my wife was taken in by ambulance to A&E with a bad cheese infection one Sunday for the whole day treatment. She again found all the staff very professional, friendly and caring keeping myself well informed of her recovery progress and her return home. In her opinion she fells the A&E is one of the bests she has visited ( unfortunately over our marriage of 48 and a bit years she has been in quit a few.
