I called ADU first thing in the morning with severe pelvis pain. Straight away the midwife on the phone was lovely and reassuring and got me booked in for a few hours later. When I arrived I was seen promptly, all observations were thoroughly checked and I was strapped up to monitor the baby. After everything being well she still wasn't happy with the pain I was in and upon getting g off the bed was able to diagnose SPD on sight! Whilst I was waiting for the doctor to confirm this all the ladies in the unit were friendly and we had a little giggle which put me at ease. The doctor confirmed the diagnosis and I was told to call if any more problems. Was very happy with how I was treated and greatly appreciate the hard work the whole maternity unit do.
