The nursing staff here were excellent. Seemed very genuine and i was looked after. My problem is that i wasn't listened to. I came to the A&E department in extreme lower back pain to where i needed a wheel chair to make it into the reception. I had an emergency scan at Hull the day before which made it much worse hence my journey to A&E. I told the doctor that something had changed to my back and that I was in extreme pain. Also my right leg was losing strength and going numb. All he did was prescribe me pain relief and sent me home. I asked him if he could look into my scan or contact the dr in charge of my case in hull and he said they do not have access to other hospitals medical records. It now turns out 5 days later still in absolute agony that i need emergency surgery. I really feel i was just pushed aside and ignored. My issue should have been investigated further. I will be making an official complaint. I would be grateful if someone could contact me regarding this issue.

Suggested improvements
The doctor should have listened to my concern as it turns out i need emergency surgery.
