I had first class treatment from Hannah Harmon my physiotherapist. She explained in great detail how I should perform each exercise, which were then sent by email for me to continue at home.
Any questions I asked she answered fully.
At first my appointments were on telephone and video call due to Covid. When face to face appointments were resumed I found these to be more beneficial to me.
Overall I am very happy with all aspects of my care.

I am a total convert to the benefits of physiotherapy. The advice, exercises and help all of the team have provided has been outstanding. Without exception, the physiotherapists have been very knowledgeable and I have made excellent progress from my hip replacement surgery.

I have attended the Gender Clinic at Danetre Hospital since 2017. I have always been treated with compassion, humanity and professionalism by all staff. Although the clinic is clearly extremely busy, they always answer emails quickly and clearly; the administrative staff are knowledgeable and highly competent. All clinical staff I have ever interacted with have also been brilliant. The quality of care has been high and I have always been treated as a person, not a number or tick-box.
I wish every transgender patient in the country could have the sort of experience I have had at this clinic.

Nothing. Just keep doing everything you're doing. Teach other hospitals and clinics to do things the way you do!

Alastair was one of the few counsellors I've had who have actually helped. I really felt that he understood what I was saying. He had helpful and constructive advice. So many just listen and reflect rather than suggest and question.
Suggested improvements
I could have done with a few more sessions. But I understand funding is limited.

I have been attending the clinic for a couple of years and everyone I have dealt with has been excellent. They are all kind and supportive and care about me and my personal wellbeing. The service is also very efficient and I have nothing but praise for all the staff at the clinic.
