Over a period of time it took many visits to our local G.P. to recognized my husbands memory problems. When I again took my husband in June 2019 to another doctor in the practice he at once recognize my husband needed help, and referred him to Daventry Memory clinic. Following a brain scan he eventually saw Dr. Jod on 7th November and was told he has Alzheimer. From then on his treatment has been very good. Sadly beforehand I feel a lot of time was wasted before he was correctly diagnosed, and maybe my husbands condition would not have deteriorated so much if his condition had been recognized sooner.
