My son was informed of the the CMHT setup in Northants was changing last year, since then he has heard nothing. I finally got through to Campbell House after many attempts to be put through to an answering machine saying not available don’t leave a message! I tried again a different day and got put through to a lovely admin/secretary who explained the change in the system which I guess, patients were supposed to gather from the ether!

Suggested improvements
Properly inform patients of changes to a system not just one letter stating that the system is changing and if you have a regular worker you will be informed. My son was told he’d be seen again in 6 months, since then he has gone downhill and it was very difficult to get through to anyone during working hours (I also work full time) Now instead of a 10 - 15 minute trip to Campbell House, my son could either have a minimum of a 2.5hr bus journey to reach appointments or I have to take a half day off work - an improvement, I don’t think so.
