Every element of the hospice at home service was remarkable and I could find no room for improvement in the care given to my dear husband and family. The day I was told that Hattl were coming.I knew the end was near for my husband and they gave us comfort, support, knowledge and first class medical care. Our experience would have been very different without their support and compassion.
The car e I got was excellent from the first day I came.
Reassurance, makes you feel relaxed, a lovely friendly atmosphere.
I have always been treated well.
I have nothing but praise for Grace and Paul who looked after my mother. Grace came to assess her on the morning of Saturday 16th July and then stayed on longer to tend to her. Paul spent four hours with her on the Sunday afternoon, supporting me too. They both treated her with, respect, kindness and dignity but, unfortunately, she died that Sunday evening. I can't thank them and the team enough. In fact, I hope they saw my acknowledgement and thanks in the local paper. Mum's diagnosis, then her passing, in just five days, was so quick there was nothing else that could have been done for her and therefore, I certainly do not feel that the care she received could have been in anyway improved. It was excellent. Thank you all.
Th treatment was carried out in a friendly way and all staff were great and very understanding.
All staff v. caring and aiming to make you feel comfortable and that nothing is too much trouble.
Personally I find the food comes too close together and find I don't have the appetite for it.
Thank you for your feedback. We are working closely with our catering team to ensure there is suitable gaps between meals. Due to patients occasionally having a limited appetite, snacks or light meals can be requested from the nursing staff outside of normal meal times and either they or volunteers will endeavour to assist.
Very little could improve the care and treatment which I was given the carer for my wife, and I can't thank them more.
Everything was excellent and very caring.
I found the care 100% they treated us with respect and dignity.
I couldn't have coped at the end if it wasn't for the support they gave myself and the care they gave to my husband.
I was able to carry out my husband wishes to die at home with his family.I will always remain grateful.
Many thanks.
